About Us
Rooted in Healing
The Recovery Wellness & Advocacy Society (RWAS) is developing a 32-acre wellness campus designed to support lasting, whole-person recovery. At its heart are two distinct 40-bed residential facilities, offering separate, trauma-informed spaces for men and women—addressing a critical need for gender-responsive care within the Interior Health region.
Surrounding the residences, 22 acres of Agricultural Land Reserve (ALR) will be dedicated to sustainable agriculture and food security initiatives. By integrating clinical treatment with hands-on connection to the land, the campus creates a holistic environment where healing is supported not only through care, but through purpose, nourishment, and community.
This model brings recovery beyond traditional approaches—cultivating growth, resilience, and long-term wellness from the inside out.
